Students’ arts, crafts exhibition concludes

TAMBARAM: A three-day students’ science, arts and crafts exhibition, ‘SAC 2008,’ concluded at Prince Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Madipakkam, on Sunday. More than 300 exhibits were on display in 64 classrooms on diverse issues.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Chennai Mayor M. Subramanian. Students took out a procession the same day.

Labour Welfare Minister T.M. Anbarasan participated in the valedictory on Sunday.

Toppers from the school who excelled in the district and State-level in last year’s tenth and Plus Two examinations were given cash awards.

Others who took part in the function included actor Delhi Ganesh, Alandur Municipal Chairman R.S. Bharathi and school correspondent K. Vasudevan.
