Presidency CC advances

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Presidency CC (Thiruvalla) and Pankajakasturi CC (Thiruvananthapuram) moved into the third round of the 13th Celestial Trophy all-Kerala cricket tournament at the Medical College ground on Friday.

Presidency CC defeated Zeros CC (Thiruvananthapuram) by six wickets, while Pankajakasturi scored a 73-run win over Oxford CC (Kollam).

The scores: Zeros CC (Thiruvananthapuram) 102 in 21.3 overs (Rahul four for 10) lost to Presidency CC (Thiruvalla) 103 for four in 13.5 overs (Aneesh Rajalingam 51); Pankajakasturi CC 177 in 30 overs (Rahul 74) bt Oxford CC (Kollam) 104 in 17.4 (Aneez four for 34).
