BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court on Friday reserved for orders a criminal petition by N.R. Narayana Murthy, Chief Mentor of Infosys, seeking to quash all further proceedings initiated against him by a Mysore court.

The Second Junior Magistrate First Class (JMFC), Mysore, had on August 22, 2007 issued process (summons) to Mr. Murthy following a complaint by the former Minister H.N. Nanje Gowda that he (Mr. Murthy) had insulted the national anthem by making certain remarks.
