Reception for new khazi

Spirit of harmony: M.P. Veerendrakumar, MP, draping a ‘ponnada’ on S.V. Ahammadkoya, who recently took charge as chief khasi of Kozhikode, at a civic reception accorded for the latter in Kozhikode on Sunday. P.M.A. Salam, MLA, K. Muraleedharan, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) State president, and K.C. Abu, District Congress Committee president, spoke. Mr. Ahammadkoya called for a system of independent thinking in society that should rise above petty political considerations.
