Fast unto death

ADILABAD: Five members of the family of Lavudia Dev Singh Naik of Bellampalli sat on a fast unto death in front of the district collectorate demanding compensation for land acquired by Singareni Collieries as early as 1963. The agitation was staged under the banner of Lambadi Hakkula Porata Samiti, Adilabad district unit, of which Dev Singh Naik is the convener.
