New Secretary takes charge

NEW DELHI: An IAS officer of the 1991 batch, Jayshree Raghuraman, has assumed charge as Secretary of the Social Welfare Department and the newly-created Woman and Child Development Department of the Delhi Government.

She succeeds Gyanendra Srivastav who has superannuated. Prior to this, Ms. Raghuraman held the charge of Director Social Welfare and additional charge of Woman and Child Development.
