17 domestic LPG cylinders seized

NAMAKKAL: A team of officials seized 17 domestic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders which were found hoarded in a house at Mohanur on Monday. Acting on a tip off, revenue officials conducted raids at Mohanur. They found 17 cooking gas cylinders in a house in Valliappan Temple Street and seized them. Police arrested Rajalingam (40) of New Street in this connection. Further investigation was going on, police said.

Farmers’ grievances meet

The district administration will organise farmers’ grievances redressal day meeting at the Collectorate at 10 a.m. on January 25. Farmers and representatives of farmers associations can participate in the meeting and express their grievances.
