ARIYALUR: Canara Bank’s branch in Jayamkondam has been shifted to new premises on Chidambaram Road on Wednesday. Speaking at a function to mark the inauguration of the branch at its new premises, the Deputy General Manager of the Bank S. Nagarajan said that the branch had so far sanctioned loans to the tune of Rs.6 crore to priority sectors, Rs.4 crore to agriculture , Rs.3.50 crore to the weaker sections, Rs.6.50 lakhs to women members of Self-Help groups and educational loans to the tune of Rs.1.25 crore.
