Residents of Gulabithota participated in a hunger strike on Wednesday demanding the government to withdraw the GO 901, as the penalisation charges prescribed in it were exorbitant. More than 50 people participated in the hunger strike camp, according to CPI floor leader in Vijayawada Municipal Corporation general body P. Gowtham Reddy.
