Inspection

The Collector Ashish Vachhani conducted a surprise inspection at fair price shops and kerosene bunks in Srirangam taluk on Tuesday.

A release here said he conducted the checks in six shops and found that 894 kilograms of rice, 69.5 kilogram of sugar and 11 kg wheat were sold through fake bills. The Collector ordered the Civil Supplies Department officials to realise the amount from the supervisors of the respective shops.
