MAHABUBNAGAR: Minister for Revenue Dharmana Prasad Rao said that Government was keen to strengthen Revenue Department and steps were being taken to fill up 7,000 village revenue officers posts in the State soon. Speaking to the press at Dharoor mandal headquarters in the district on Thursday the Revenue Minister alleged that previous government had totally neglected development and welfare activities during its ten-year regime. He distributed land patta certificate and title deeds to the beneficiaries at Gadwal, inaugurated Tahsil office building at Dharoor and rural police station building at Gadwal. All eligible persons were being sanctioned pucca houses and pensions besides ration cards at their doorsteps he directed the officers to identify Government land for distribution to the landless poor in the coming next 5th phase round. Gadwal MLA D. K. Aruna presided over the function. Hyderabad range DIG Eshwar Reddy Collector V.
