96 constables selected for training at Karimnagar Only 73 candidates completed their training KARIMNAGAR: The passing out parade of the first batch of stipendiary cadet trainee police constables (Armed Reserve) selected from the Krishna, Visakhapatnam rural, Hyderabad city and Kurnool districts was conducted at the district police training centre on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Monday. Karimnagar range DIG N Chandramouli participated as chief guest, Superintendent of Police Y Gangadhar, Collector M V Satyanarayana, district judge Durga Prasad, additional SP (admn), Manikyala Rao and others were also present. Out of 96 constables selected to undergo nine-months training at the Karimnagar police training centre, only 73 candidates successfully completed their training and participated in the impressive passing out parade. DisqualifiedThe remaining 23 constables were disqualified and were told to undergo another two months training to participate in the passing out parade. Incidentally, Rajana Santosh Shiva Kumar (PC 1141) of Visakhapatnam district secured best out door winner award and acted as the parade commander. He also secured the best firer award at the training. G Siva Rama Krishna (PC 782) of Visakhapatnam secured the best indoor winner award and also best all round performance in Greyhounds training and B Nagaraju (PC 546) secured the best all rounder performance award. Speakers on the occasion have called upon the constables to work with dedication and uphold the image of the police department by maintaining cordial relations with the public while discharging their duties.
