VIZIANAGARAM: The three-day celebrations of saint Tyagaraja began at the Government Music and Dance College here on Thursday.

College principal B. Anuradha Parasuram lighted the lamp to mark the inauguration.

As part of the celebrations, the students took out a rally singing ‘kirtans’ and participated in ‘pancha ratna seva’.

Lecturers and students of the college would give performances in the evenings at the college, the principal said.
