Kanishka: Reyat may be released in two weeks

Toronto: Inderjit Singh Reyat, convicted in the bombing of Air India plane Kanishka and facing perjury charges, may be out of prison in two weeks when he completes his term on February 9.

Reyat, on Wednesday, was expected to plead guilty to charges of perjury related to his testimony but his lawyer sought more time to prepare defence. The court adjourned the hearing. — PTI
