Prisoner escapes

Kirti Ramu, a prisoner on remand, escaped from police custody on Thursday. Ramu, who was suffering from epilepsy, ran away while guard in-charge of Four Town police station G.V. Ramana was taking him to the neurology room number 8 in King George Hospital.

He was involved in a house-breaking case in the Four Town police station limits.
