Pratyush Srivastava wins title

HYDERABAD: Pratyush Srivastava won the Open under-10 category title in the Magna Chess Academy children’s chess tournament here on Monday.

Reebok beats Cistron

Reebok scored a seven-wicket win over Cistron in the sixth Friendship Cup cricket tournament for corporate groups here.

The scores: Cistron 121 for nine in 20 overs lost to Reebok 122 for three in 19.2 overs (Venkat Rao 47 n.o.); Veva 142 for eight in 20 overs (Sudhir 46) bt Zinda Tilismath 131 for five (Faiz Ahmed 65).

VNR College scored a 39-20 win over St. Mary’s Engineering College in the inter-collegiate basketball tournament at Sanathnagar Playground.

Intelli Group scored an eight-wicket win over Basix in the Concern India Foundation corporate cricket tournament being organised to raise funds for charity here.

The scores: De Shaw 119 (Hemanth 40, Rahul five for 19) bt Bajaj Allianz 83; Techpoint Solutions 148 (Srikanth 43) bt SuchirIndia 59; Basix 64 lost to Intelli Group 68 for two.

Corporate sports meet

The second Corporate Sports Festival will commence from February 16 at different grounds in the twin cities. Competitions will be held in basketball, volleyball, table tennis and badminton.
