Raghav shines

Chennai: V. Maaruthi Raghav scored 92 to take University of Madras to 383 for eight in 90 overs in the first day of the all-India inter-zone inter-University cricket tournament semifinal against Guru Nanak Dev University here on Monday.

The scores: Day one: SRM 265 in 85.1 overs (K. Shri Vasudeva Das 70, K.B. Arun Karthik 66, Vishal Dhabolkar four for 67) vs. University of Mumbai three for no loss in one over; University of Madras 383 for eight in 90 overs (V. Maaruthi Raghav 92, R. Prashanth 71, U.
