Common facility for marketing of handicrafts

ADILABAD: District Collector Ahmad Nadeem on Wednesday inaugurated a workshop on local-level marketing of handicraft products of Adilabad district.

The workshop was organised by the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) and service centre for CWTCs, Warangal, with an objective of increasing production of handicrafts to enhance employment opportunities and earning capacities of craftsmen.

The Collector assured allotment of an acre of land for establishment of a common facility centre at Adilabad for marketing the handicrafts and providing training for craftsmen.

Training

He said training would be provided to artisans through the DRDA-IKP on marketing.
