Prepare data on leopards

People are disturbing the natural habitat of animals in Kambalakonda in the name of eco-tourism.

The Forest Department should make a proper data on the leopards in the region and mark their territory and release it at Kambalakonda for public awareness.

Deforestation, urbanisation and industrialisation are mainly responsible for the loss of eco-system.

Though the subject Environmental Science has been introduced at all levels of education, no sufficient work is being done on the implementation part. Government should take action against land encroachers, industrialists, poachers and keep a check on the real estate business.

Denudation of hills surrounding the city is depriving the animals of their natural habitat.

So they are forced to come into the residential areas in search of food.

What we see is not sustainable development but senseless destruction.

If we don’t stop this mindless plundering, then we will lose our natural wealth forever.
