INVESTIGATION: Terror suspects Riyazuddin Nasir and Asadullah Abubaker being brought to the Forensic Science Laboratory in Bangalore on Thursday. BANGALORE: The two terror suspects arrested by the Davangere police, Riyazuddin Nasir and Asadullah Abubaker, were subjected to polygraph and brain-mapping tests at the State Forensic Science Laboratory here on Thursday to ascertain certain claims they had made during interrogation by the police. Nasir underwent the two tests on Wednesday after a team from the Corps of Detectives (CoD) brought the two to Bangalore from Hubli. After subjecting Nasir to another round of polygraph and brain mapping tests on Thursday, the experts made Asadullah to undergo the two tests, sources in the laboratory told The Hindu. Earlier in the day, Nasir and Asadullah were taken to the Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology for medical examination as they are to be subjected to narco analysis in a few days. The Judicial Magistrate First Class Court at Honnalli in Davangere district has granted permission to conduct narco analysis on the two terror suspects. The police are keen on ascertaining the network of terror modules in Karnataka, their targets and about the whereabouts of the consignment of firearms that had been supplied to them by their handlers in Pakistan.
