Loyola College posts win

HYDERABAD: Loyola College (Chennai) recorded a 70-64 win over Madras Christian College (Chennai) in the preliminary round of the Fr. Balaiah Memorial national basketball tournament here on Monday.

Easy win for Satyam

Satyam recorded an easy 47-run win over Capco Capacitors in the Concern India Foundation cricket tournament for corporate groups being organised to raise funds for charity.

The scores: Intelligroup 129 for five (Ravikanth 68) bt ITC Grand Kakatiya 99 for nine (Vijetha 40).

Satyam 126 for five (Raghuram 47, Suresh 41) bt Capco Capacitors 79.

Tata Teleservices 92 for nine lost to The Hindu 96 for one.

GHMC tennikoit

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) will conduct an annual, open tennikoit tournament from February 18 to 20 at Nehrunagar Playground here.
