St. Joseph’s in final

CHENNAI: St. Joseph’s College of Commerce (Bangalore) will meet Loyola ‘Whites’ in the final of the inaugural Fr. G. Francis memorial inter-collegiate hockey tournament being organised by the Loyola College on Tuesday.

In the semifinals on Monday, Loyola ‘Whites’ defeated Loyola ‘Yellows’ 2-0, while St. Joseph’s (Bangalore) trounced Nandha College (Perundurai) 5-1.

The results (semifinals): Loyola ‘Whites’ 2 (Raja, Vinoth Kumar) bt Loyola ‘Yellows’ 0; St. Joseph’s College of Commerce (Bangalore) 5 (Anish Uthaiah 2, Mario Kasi 2, Karol John) bt Nandha College (Perundhurai) 1 (Siva Kumar).
