Malleswaram posts win

Bangalore: Malleswaram Gymkhana defeated Jaidur Cricketers by 54 runs in a N. Balaji MTR Nivarana Basavanagudi Cup tournament match here on Wednesday. Malleswaram Gymkhana scored 170 for eight in 29 overs and restricted Jaidur Cricketers to 116 for nine in 26 overs with Sunil Kumar claiming four wickets.

The scores: Malleswaram Gymkhana 170 for eight in 29 overs (Mithun Beerala 50, K.B. Pawan 42, Chaitra four for 33) bt Jaidur Cricketers 116 for nine in 26 overs (Sunil Kumar four for 18).

Jawahar SC 189 for nine in 30 overs (Gautham 50) lost to Jupiter CA 192 for five in 25.5 overs (Lingaraj 69).

Jawan’s CC 221 for five in 30 overs (Yogesh 72, Amit Verma 69) bt City Cricketers 143 in 29.3 overs.
