Gloster not to extend contract

Rajkot: John Gloster, India’s physiotherapist for three years, has informed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) that he will not be available for a further contract with the Indian team after the Commonwealth Bank Tri-series in Australia.

Gloster took over from Andrew Leipus from the home series against Pakistan in 2005. Previously Gloster was physio of the Bangladesh cricket team.

The BCCI has to now find a physio for the three-Test home series against South Africa. — Special Correspondent
