Rs. 110 cr. mooted for Sarva Siksha Abhiyan

Kakinada: The Education Department has proposed an outlay of Rs 110 crores for Sarva Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) in East Godavari district for the financial year 2008-09. The major components of the budget are creation of infrastructure (Rs 43 crores) and salaries plus arrears of teachers and education volunteers (Rs 36 crores), SSA additional project coordinator DN Murthy said in a press release.
