Mysore varsity acting VC

BANGALORE: T.C. Shivashankara Murthy, Dean, Sciences and Technology, University of Mysore, has been appointed acting Vice-Chancellor of the varsity with effect from February 19.

The former Vice-Chancellor J. Shashidara Prasad retired on October 22 last. P. Ishwar Bhat, professor, was then appointed acting Vice-Chancellor of the univerity. His service will expire on February 18.
