KE Board’s HS in final

HUBLI: KE Board’s High School, Dharwad qualified for the final of the KSCA’s Dharwad Zone under-15 inter-school cricket tournament here on Monday on the basis of its first innings lead over Basel Mission English Medium High School.

The scores: KE Board’s HS, 289 & 174 for six in 45 overs (Samarth Ooty 70 not out) drew with BMEM HS 94 for two in 32 overs (P. Vishwanath 92 not out, C.H. Tejashwar 54 not out, Pratik Kulkarni 40).

Easy for Sapthagiri

Sapthagiri College of Hotel Management (Kavoor) recorded a 69-run win over SCS College of Nursing (Mangalore) in the Twenty20 cricket tournament for the Ace Surgical Cup at the Nehru Maidan at Mangalore.

The score: Sapthagiri 169 for eight in 20 overs (Rajesh Yadav 67, Saiprasad Shetty 32) bt SCS 100 in 15.1 overs (Vimal three for one, Vinod three for 31).

UCA posts win

Udupi Cricket Association posted a five-wicket win over Ramakrishna High School for the Ramco Cup (under-16), at the Nehru Maidan at Mangalore.

The scores: Ramakrishna HS 123 for six in 25 overs (Deekshit 41, Gopal Shetty three for 22) lost to Udupi CA 124 for five in 22.5 overs. Basketball tournament
