TDP workers shift camp to TRS en masse

ADILABAD: Telugu Desam Party’s (TDP) Adilabad coordination committee secretary Ch. Suhasini Reddy and about 500 of her followers joined Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) on Tuesday in the presence of Adilabad MP T. Madhusudan Reddy and Rama Rao, son of TRS chief K. Chandrashekhar Rao. However, the formal entry into TRS will take place on February 22 when the TRS president will address a public meeting here.

Ms. Suhasini Reddy, a former ZP chairperson told media persons that due to the unclear stand of TDP on Telangana issue, s,he chose to join the Telangana protagonist party.

“I have resigned from the TDP today and so have the 500 of my followers”, she stated at her residence amid a large gathering.
