Leopard scare haunts two villagers

Kakinada: The fear of a leopard lurking in the agricultural fields near Veldurti and P. Dontamuru villages of Pithapuram mandal, has been haunting people for the last couple of days. Some farmers of Veldurti noticed pug-marks of the leopard on Monday evening and on tracking them, found the animal to be hiding in the nearby sugarcane fields. The feline reportedly attacked a farmer when the villagers tried to scare it away. However, it could not be traced till now.
