Mayor Mallika Begum urged members of residential welfare associations to extend their cooperation to the staff of Vijayawada Municipal Corporation and help them solve civic issues. Addressing a meeting organised in connection with the constitution of the first ever all-women residential welfare associations in Paykapuram and Prajasakthinagar, she said it was heartening to see women coming forward to take up responsibilities.
