VSP union polls on March 1

The recognized union elections for the employees of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant will be held on March 1.

Various unions have intensified campaign for verification of membership being held for majority union under the supervision of Department of Labour.

Meanwhile, in a letter to the Deputy Commissioner of Labour, the Visakha Steel Employees’ Union, the first registered and recognized union, has conveyed that it would support the Visakha Steel Emloyees’ Congress affiliated to the Indian National Trade Union Congress.
