HMWSSB official’s house raided

HYDERABAD: Anti-Corruption Bureau officials on Wednesday registered a case against Hyderabad Metro Water Supply and Sewerage Board Director (Projects), Ch. Gautam Reddy, on the charge of amassing wealth illegally.

Searches conducted at the office and residence of the Director reportedly revealed that he secured properties worth over Rs. 3 crore that were disproportionate to his known sources of income. The assets included 10 acres of land at Sangareddy, three houses in the city and gold jewellery. An amount of Rs. 4 lakh was also seized.
