Get set for tasting the thunder

Where has Mahesh Babu vanished? The young movie star with the looks and cool attitude seems to have disappeared after his last release ‘Athidhi’ keeping his fans guessing about his next movie. While that may take some time, the star has been busy in Malaysia shooting for a commercial.

The new look campaign for the fizzy ‘Taste The Thunder’ Thums Up - ‘I will do anything for my thunder’ features the charismatic star burning the streets of Kuala Lumpur in a heavy duty action car chase to grab his favourite cola bottle from a truck.

The fast paced advertising film has been shot by Malaysian Director Farouk Aljoffrey and conceptualised by Leo Burnett’s Executive Creative Director Sainath Saraban. “It feels great to be associated with Thums Up as it has qualities of energy and go getting spirit which I closely identify with. What excites me even more is the thunderous taste experience,” gushed Mahesh Babu.

Interestingly, the cola’s earlier brand ambassador was Chiranjeevi. Now, you know which way the young man’s career is headed?
