Zilla Parishad Chairman assaulted

ADILABAD: Adilabad Zilla Parishad Chairman Rathod Ramesh’s (TDP) shirt was torn in a clash between TDP and Congress activists at Asifabad during the awareness programme on third phase of Indiramma committees on Sunday. The meeting, which was chaired by Labour Minister G. Vinod, was abandoned following the clash. The police dispersed the agitators and registered cases against both the groups. –Staff Reporter
