The Vidya Samrakshana Samiti on Monday organised a demonstration in front of the Collectorate here in protest against Delhi University introducing as syllabus for the II B.A. (honors) and B.A. (pass) courses, the Ramayanam written by A.K. Ramanujan, which allegedly distorted the facts and was insidious, derogatory, and contrary to the existing respect and pride the people have towards the epic.
