Bajaj Hind.’s new unit commences operations

CHENNAI: Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar and Industries has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that the company’s new 12,000 TCD (tonnes crushed a day) sugar plant in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, has commenced operations. With this new plant, the aggregate operating capacity of the company, during the current sugar season, has increased to 40,000 TCD from the earlier capacity of 28,000 TCD. — Corporate Reporter
