THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP State president P.K. Krishnadas said here on Monday that the Sachar Committee had not looked at the status of Muslim community in the country in a comprehensive manner. Opposing the move to implement the report, he said while the representation of Muslims in government service might be low, they had better presence in industrial, business and trade sectors.

About 50 per cent of Keralites employed in the Gulf countries were Muslims.
