Chennai: Indian Overseas Bank and Sports Authority of India ‘A’ gathered full points with identical 2-0 wins over Tamil Nadu Special Police and Port Trust respectively in the senior division hockey league championship at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium on Tuesday.

The reigning champion, IOB, scored both its goals in the first half.

Felix gave IOB an early start in the second minute and L. Anandan netted the second in the 10th.

Despite taking an early lead through Lakshmi Prashant, SAI met with stiff opposition from Port Trust, which conceded the second goal only in the final minute when Shyam Kumar netted.
