Sangareddy: Minister for Major Industries and Sugar J. Geetha Reddy addressing a high power committee meeting at the assembly committee hall in Hyderabad on Wednesday announced that the Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy would inaugurate the newly built 400 KV sub station in Kodakandla of Gajwel mandal during the last week of April. According to a press release here today the meeting was attended by the minister for power Shabbir Ali, special chief secretary A.K.Goel, AP Transco managing director Rachel Chatterjee, Genco MD Ajay Jain and others. The minister asked the Transco officials to give top most priority to farming sector. Minister for power asked the officials to speed up construction of sub stations all over the state. He reviewed the progress of ongoing projects in Medak district. He announced that the Kodakandla sub station would start functioning after the inaugural.
