KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Seven Party Alliance on Wednesday authorised Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala to strike a deal with the agitating ethnic Indian Madeshi groups to end the strike in Terai. During a meeting at Mr. Koirala’s residence here, the top brass of CPN-UML and the CPN-Maoist asked him to resolve the crisis by forging an agreement with the agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front through dialogue, CPN-UML standing committee member Jhala Nath Khanal said.
