Suchitra Sen responding to treatment

Kolkata: Legendary actress Suchitra Sen (77), suffering from breathlessness, is on oxygen support and steroids but is responding to the treatment, doctors attending on her said on Friday.

“Mrs. Sen is maintaining slow progress and has been administered antibiotics and steroid,” Belle Vue Clinic Administrator P. Tandon said. He said that the actress would take time to recover.

“It can’t be said right now when she will be moved out of the ICU.” He said despite the slow progress of recovery, she was responding to treatment and ate normal food. — PTI
