Miraculous escape for Guntur MLA

GUNTUR: Guntur-II MLA Tadisetty Venkat Rao had a miraculous escape on Friday after the car in which he was travelling lost control and hit a tree near Medikonduru, close to the city. He sustained a hairline fracture on his right shoulder and is now recuperating.

Narrating the incident, Mr. Rao said that he was returning from Hyderabad in his van, when he noticed a lorry coming at great speed in the opposite direction at about 3 a.m. His driver tried to swerve the car to the left and lost control. The car crashed against a tree. Inspector of Police M. Nageswara Rao noticed the MLA with bleeding injuries on the road and shifted him to a private hospital.
