NPA diamond jubilee fete tomorrow

HYDERABAD: On the occasion of its diamond jubilee year, Sardar Patel National Police Academy is organising ‘half-marathon’ and a 10-K run on Sunday, a release from the Police Academy said.

The event, which includes both half-marathon and a 10K run, is restricted to uniformed personnel of police organisations and schoolchildren, the release said.

Athletes from police organisations in West Bengal, Manipur, personnel from CRPF and National Industrial Security Academy will take part in the run.

Over 300 schoolchildren above 16 years from various schools will be participating in the marathon.
