“India is one market”

New Delhi: Critical of the anti-North Indian campaign in Maharashtra, Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram on Friday said the country was “one market for labour, one market for skill.”

“We are one market, one country, one market for goods and services, one market for education, one market for labour, one market for skill, one market for technology,” Mr. Chidambaram said, when asked about the campaign against the migrant workforce in Maharashtra, especially Mumbai, considered the economic capital of the country. — PTI
