NPPA cuts prices of scheduled medicines

NEW DELHI: The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority on Tuesday revised downwards prices of all scheduled medicines to pass on the benefits of excise duty cut to consumers. The regulator has asked all drug makers to reduce the prices of all scheduled formulations by 4.5 per cent with immediate effect, an official release said.
