National beach handball

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The sixth National beach handball championships will be held at the Shangumugham beach here from March 14 to 16.

Thirty-two teams will take part in the three-day meet. The tournament will be played on a league-cum-knock-out basis. The Indian team for the inaugural Asian Beach Games to be held in Bali will be selected from this tournament. — Principal Correspondent
