Ashok Kumar, Digvijay in fray

NEW DELHI: Singapore’s Lam Chih Bing, defending champion Ashok Kumar and Digvijay Singh are among the leading professionals to have confirmed their participation in the grand finale of the Business Today-Honda Pro-Am of Champions to be played at the Classic Golf Resort, Gurgaon, on Saturday.

Rahul Ganapathy, Mukesh Kumar, Shamim Khan and lady pro Shalini Malik will be part of the field that includes several CEOs from across the country.

The event has travelled through Bangalore, Kolkata and Mumbai before reaching its final destination.

With a prize-fund of Rs. 12 lakh, one of the 22 professionals on view can collect a maximum of Rs. 3.30 lakh, including appearance money, for just playing 36 holes.

The winning team including three amateurs get an all expense paid trip for a couple to South Africa, courtesy Sun International and South African Airways. — Special Correspondent
