CR triumphs

HYDERABAD: Central Railway won the overall championship with 61 points in the All-India Railways cycling championship at Osmania University cycling velodrome here on Thursday. Host South Central Railway and Eastern Railway finished second and third respectively.

The results:

Overall championship: 1. Central Railway 61 pts, 2. South Central Railway 56 pts, 3. Eastern Railway 46 pts.

120km road race mass start: 1. Uttam Nale (CR) 2 hr 38.42, 2. O. Bikram Singh (SCR), 3. Sabu Ganigar (SWR).
