>>In the column “This Day That Age” (March 5, 2008 – From the pages of The Hindu dated March 5, 1958), the entry “Mediums in varsities” had a reference to “Mr. K.J. Shrimali, Minister of State for Education”. It should have been Dr. Kalu Lal Shrimali. (A report in The Hindu, issue dated April 10, 1962, says that Dr. Shrimali was elected to the Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan. He was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Education in December 1953, and later Deputy Minister of Education. He was re-elected to the Rajya Sabha in April 1956, and in April 1957 was appointed Minister of State in the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research. In April 1958, he became the Minister of Education.)
