Ilavazhagi lands a job

CHENNAI: I. Ilavazhagi, the reigning World women’s carrom champion, on Friday accepted the job offer made by Sri Ramanujar Engineering College.

At a simple function held at the College premises (Vandalur) here on Saturday, Ilavazhagi said, “I am happy that the college has given me a job. I thank Mr. R. (Christudas) Gandhi, State Sports Secretary for his guidance and help.” M. Nithya Sundar, Correspondent, Sri Ramanujar Engineering College, said “Ilavazhagi has been appointed as the Sports Secretary of our college.
